South Carolina is the name of your state. Will my driving record follow me from another state even if I haven't driven in 24 years or have any tickets.(only U.S. law)?

Yes it will. Driving Drunk convictions and other crimes don't fall off your record because you move. Why do you ask?

DUI and DWIs don't affect auto insurance after 5 or 6 years.
... and a first DUI/DWI shouldn't enhance the sentencing on a second DUI/DWI after a period of time (generally after 7 to 10 years, but this varies by state).

Your history, however, tends to follow you wherever you go, and this includes your driving history and your criminal history. Trying to escape your past by starting anew in a new state is not as easy to do as it once was.

Are you saying you were convicted of DUI/DWI at least 24 years ago? You didn't specify but since you did post t his under Drunk Driving that's what we are all assuming.

Have you had a license for the past 24 years but didn't drive?
