What is the name of your state? California/ Delaware.

To put it out there just in case it helps I am 17 and will be 18 in like 2 weeks.

About 2 weeks ago I got pulled over while driving my friends car. I had only drove the car about 2 blocks and the cops knew that. Anyways I got a ticket for driving without a license and I am supposed to go into a court April 16th to find out if I get a fine or whatever happens. The thing is I was living in delaware with my mom when this all happened but I am now in California living with my Dad untill a few weeks after I'm 18 then I'm going off to college. What am I supposed to do!? I am all the way out here in california and I am not going to be able to go out there that soon. Will it all get erased when I turn 18? Will they push the date back untill I come back out there or what? help me please!

If you fail to appear in DE they will almost certainly suspend your driving privlege there. Eventually, CA will find out and they will likely suspend your license due to that FTA.

Take care of the previous citation or expect to lose cars when they get towed out from under you. It will NOT go away if you ignore it.

Nor will it automatically get wiped away when you turn 18. I don't know where so many kids get that idea.

I just talked to the court and the police station that I was taken to and they both said they do not have my ticket in the records. so what does that mean?
