Can a previous employer suddenly drop an employee from their health insurance policy without a 30 day or such notice, after the employee has been kept on after Cobra?
The employer states that a policy is not in place for previous employees to stay on health insurance policy after Cobra is up, even though employee has been on 4 months past Cobra.
If you've used up your COBRA time, you were lucky to get the four months. They could legally have dropped you as soon as the COBRA time was up, and if this is the reason, they are not required to give you 30 days notice.
