i was recently stopped for expired car tags. iwas searched and with possesion of drug paraphelia,(marijuana pipe) and an empty meth baggie which only contained residue. to topit off i was also charged with fraudelent tags. will these charges require a lawyer? am i looking a jail time? I am in Arkansas and I am a first offender. Please help . court is may9 2000

Yes, Virginia, you need a lawyer. Given the drug trafficking proceeds seizure laws, the penalties could get very serious very quickly. Besides, you'll need a lawyer to argue that the search was unconstitutional if you want to beat the drug charges.
