Maryland. Spouse drives drunk occassionaly, if he has an accident and someone is hurt or killed, can we loose all our community property due to a lawsuit. I have suggested that everything owned jointly should be put in my name (married 32 yrs.)I'm afraid of loosing all we worked for for just one "I'll only have a few, I be o.k." Thanks.

Hi, I was arrested for dwi last year and it's a terrible thing to happen. It disrupts your whole life and now I will not be drinking and driving again. #1 I lost my job. #2 I lost my car. #3 I lost all my friends(rainy day) friends. #4 I lost my life in a way. As for your home, I don't know but be thankful you don't live in san salvador. I think but not sure but one country gives death as the sentence and another locks the wife up with the husband. Anyway, tell the feller it ain't worth it and if he is an alcoholic ask your MD for Antibuse. I saw people on that in driving school and it helped them.I hope your home isn't taken someday. Thx

My husband goes out once a week and usually ends up drunk. Rescently, he got a dui pulling out of a parking space. I am not sure if I am thankful for the dui or not. We are consistly arguing about the issue, how are you and significant other getting along?
