Thank you in advance for any direction provided in this matter. I live in NYC and in April 1997 I took 6 sweaters and a faux fur coat to the local dry cleaners for cleaning and storage. When I went to retrieve it, they did not produce it. I went there repeatedly and they never had it. Then they said I picked it up. I still have the tickets and I didn't pick up any clothes so I didn't sign the "lost ticket book". The last time I went there, earlier this year, the owner threw a stapler at me and I called the cops, a report was filed. I would be interested in mediation or whatever I can do to get back my clothes. I don't like the strife but I want my stuff. What's the best way to get it?
