I LIVE IN NEW YORK - THE COURT STATES THAT I MUST PAY
SUPPORT UNTIL THE CHILD IS 21. THE CHILD LIVES IN CON-
NETICUT - THEY SAY SHE IS EMANCIPATED NOW (18 YRS OLD).
WHY SHOULD NY MAKE ME KEEP PAYING FOR A NON CITIZEN
DESPITE THE LAWS GOVERNING HER IN CT. I HAVE PAID ALL
ARREARS & HAVE INFO THAT THE CHILD IS NOT LIVING WITH
HER MOTHER - MAYBE LIVING WITH A 22 YR OLD MALE. I HAVE
NO CONTACT WITH HER - UNLESS SHE CALLS MY MOTHER.
DO I HAVE AN ARGUABLE CASE ?? WOULD THIS GO TO FED COURT ??

New York laws state child support will stop at the child's 21st b-day. New York has CEJ over the order because that is where you reside. Contact your local Senators, elected officials and let them try to resolve the matter.
