What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? PA
does due process also apply to employment? I was suspended from work without being allowed to give my side of the story until 8 weeks later ( still suspended ) I was suspended 9 more weeks, then fired ( by Mail ) no reason given. No one else was suspended or fired and the company refused to interview all the employees I named. My minor daughter was interviewed by the same company where we both worked without an attorney or parental notification ( no criminal charges involved anywhere) Is there anything else I can do besides file with the Human relations department - which I've already done. I just wondered what all I can do for myself. The company is black - balling me but I cannot prove it. No one wants to get involved. Human Relations have filed against the company for both my daughter and I. Do they do this for everyone? What is the process and how long will it take? The co willingly gave me unemployment because they told the unemployment office that they did not wish to discuss the matter and considered it closed. Is there anything other than due process that may be violated here?

There is no legally required process that MUST be followed in all cases, regardless. If you had to guess, why would you think you were let go?

You must know what they were investigating, since you gave them employee names to interview and they spoke to your daughter. What was the issue?

(By the way, the employer had no requirement whatsoever to obtain parental consent or provide legal represenation when questioning your daughter.)
