What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

Hello...

I am out of state and wish to follow a case that is in Bexar County, Texas. This is the individual's second DUI in ten years, possibly 7 or 8.

I have the name and a case number for the second occurrance but I can't seem to find a way to follow this case as it progresses online.

I only found a "magistrates arrest record search" but nothing came up. There were no other searches available. Are DUI's and the court proceedings public information?

Does anyone have any information on how this can be done?

Anything that gets filed in the case, and any scheduling dates, are all public information. There is no statewide database for this information however. The records are maintained by that county's applicable clerk's office. In this case it would be the county clerk's office of Bexar county. They may or may not maintain a complete database online. If there is nothing on their website then you can call them and see if they will give you the information you want over the phone. It is possible the database you are looking at is in fact complete and there just has not been any further actions or court settings yet.

You may also be able to find out what county court the case is filed in and call the court coordinator, or look on the court's website, to obtain scheduling information.
