I was charged with a DUI on October 28th 2000

The court date on my ticket is Nov. 23, 2000

The officer called me a day later and told me to change my courtdate to Nov. 31, 2000 so I wouldn't have to go to court on Thanksgiving, making it seem like he was doing me a favor.

There is no Nov. 31, 2000

I went to the couthouse Thursday Nov. 23, 2000 at 9:00am.

Nobody was there!

Is my case dissmisable in the state of Oregon?

What should I do?

Thankyou,

thanksgiving

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

Yeah, you never know. Well, did you attempt to change the court date? They may not dismiss because your court date is still on docket and might be automatically kicked to a bench warrant.

You do have a certain amount of days from which they must arraign you, etc.

Go back to the courthouse and see what can be done.
