DUI effects on child custody

I had a DUI arrest in 1999 in FL, which I was not convicted of.

I had another in September 2006 in Maryland. I served 4 days in jail and a stent order was given.

Since then, I have successfully completed Voluntary Outpatient Program for alcohol addiction and a Voluntary 30 day Residential Treatment Program. I am doing my after- care, and I'm working everyday.

How bad will this hurt my chases if my wife is suing me for sole legal and physical custody. There are no violence issues or anything like that. Please advise.

As long as you're clean and continuing some kind of care , you should be awarded at least Joint Legal and visits .

Ask for it , don't compromise , let the Judge decide .
