DUI expungement after ARD?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

I completed ARD for a first (and only) DUI a few months ago but my case still shows on the docket as "Adjucitated" and "awaiting ARD completion". I am trying to find out how to get my record expunged because I am looking for work. It costs a fortune to talk to my lawyer so I figured it would be worth a shot to ask here. I thought the expungement would be automatic after ARD. Is there a waiting period or something? A friend told me there was a one year probabtion period before you could apply for expungement but I don't thnk our situations are the same.

Philly-In most counties the expungement is automatic. However, it takes time. If it is not expunged in the next few months then you are going to want to contact an attonrey and file a petition.
