What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Utah

Hello, I am in the United States Air Force and am currently serving in Utah. On New Years I made a HUGE and CARELESS mistake by getting arrested for DUI. I already have a lawyer and a court date set. This is my first offense and have a clean record. I was just wondering what this would do to the status of my Iowa driver's license? Does Utah have the authority to do anything to it?

Utah can't suspend your Iowa DL, but Iowa will when they hear of your conviction. Your Utah driving privs will also be suspended. You do know you are also subject to military discipline for this?

The State's Driver's License Compact is how Iowa will find out about your Utah ticket.

Only to a minor extent of military law, The Air Force has a thing called double jepeordy... I'm getting tried in civil court and the military isn't going to punish me twice for one crime.

This isn't double jeopardy. If you don't think you can stand a reprimand, Article 15, reduction in rank, or other consequences for a civilian DUI conviction, you better check again.
