I live in DE. last year i was stopped for speeding and charged with DUI, first offense. I know there is an automatic loss of license for refusing the breathalizer test. which i didn`t. but could have i refused the roadside tests, seems like these are set up for even the soberest person to fail. Also would i have been better of submitting to the blood test instead of the breathalizer. I was barley over the limit.In this state you looses your license in a probable cause case and for the DUI. So you get hit pretty hard

NOW wouldnt paying for a cab home, and paying for one the next day to pick up your car wouldnt that have been cheaper?

our laws disciminate against really really stupid people.

No cabs in a rural area. The laws are made so arrogant know it alls like you can make a living sponging off the working people!

YO rural guy, what dont have any non drinking friends who can be a designated driver....

YO cant you find somewhere closer to home to drink, and get a cab?

actually I was working about an hour from home and stopped and had 4 beers with a buddy of mine.My wife has jusy left me the day before and I was talking it over with him. Yeah, you`re right i wasn`t thinking, but that still doesn`t answer my original questions.

Hey I thought this was an advice site, not a place to ridicule. Apparently, some people don't have any other web sites to visit or are they just nosey and trying to force their apparent glass-house lifestyles on those of us who live in the real world. People do commit crimes and do make mistakes and unless you're in their shoes at the time, and even if you are not, who are we to judge? Need some advice sJayk? Don't ask for it at this web site apparently it's for the nosey and better than thou individuals. Sorry to read about your problem. No advice but at least some empathy.

I've got a better idea, maybe you and sjayk58 can go out for a few beers and you could get your third DUI and go to a prison with no computer so you can't bore us with your justifications of why its OK to drink and drive. Just watch
out for that innocent family of six you might take out at the same time....Bottoms Up

Hey, Yo Young, Ya so your a senior, maybe somebody you cared about got hurt or even killed. That doesn't mean we're all a bunch of alchoholics. I,m with the other guy's if we decided to get of this web site and go have a few beers I'd probably join them. Just as long as we did it the proper way. Salutions is the answer, yes, but it doesn'thelp us solve our current situation. I only ask that you could be more positive and helpfull to those of us who are younger and less exspierenced than you.
