I AM RECEIVING HEALTH/DENTAL INSURANCE THROUGH MY HUSBAND'S EMPLOYMENT. WE WERE TO BE ELIGIBLE THE 1ST OF JULY, WE RECEIVED OUR CARDS AND A LETTER STATING SO. JULY 8TH I WENT TO THE DENTIST FOR A CLEANING AND A MONTH LATER I RECV A BILL FROM MY DENTIST STATING THAT I WAS NOT ELIGIBLE AT THE TIME OF THE VISIT.(I NO LONGER HAVE THE LETTER ANYMORE BUT WHEN I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE # ON THE BACK OF THE CARD, THEY EVEN VARIFIED THAT MY ELIGIBILITY DATE WAS JULY 1ST, BUT THEY ALSO SHOWED THAT IT WAS CANCELLED THEN REINSTATED FOR JULY 21ST. THEY COULD NOT TELL ME THE REASON FOR THIS AND MY QUESTION IS, DO I HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO PAY THIS BILL, BECAUSE THE ELIGIBILITY DATE WAS CHANGED WITHOUT US KNOWING THIS. WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS.
