I have a question about the "Duty to Mitigate Damages". I called the court house this a.m. and asked them about filing a counter on her counter and they were not clear about the paperwork needed. They stated that if I knew the law number, they might be able to help with what paperwork is needed, as they are not attnys and do not know what to look for. My friend who is an attny should call today, but I thought I would ask you if you knew the law here in GA that states "Duty to Mitigate Damages."
