ITS still in the court system as to wether it is legal.....It probably isnt, but the courts have not decided anything yet.

The state feels is is not Illegal, but it is a safety issue, they are trying to prevent you from doing it again, and without a car, and knowing that if anyone lets you drive their car and if you get in an accident or another DWI while the case is pending, the owner of the car you are driving would be arrested too.

Its been a long time coming, I agree the car should be taken away from you, for a period of time on the first offense, and permenatly on the second!
