I am starting a company (fisrt time) where I will be the sole employee. I am getting E&O insurance but really do not know how much I need. Does anyone know of a Insurance company with good rates for this? I was going to incorporate my business primarly to protect myself in case of a lawsuit. If I have E&O, do I really need to incorporate. Thanks to anyone who replies

If you incorporate any one harmed is likely to name you and your company anyway and even if you ultimately win, you're still in for a hard time with costs, etc. Get the insurance. As for how much, as one of the main benefits is defense costs, the first $100k is the most expensive and the rest is modest. It all depends on what you will be doing and your state and area and what you have to protect.
