My neighbor has a driveway easement"for ingress and egress of the existing drive". I would like to put down railroad ties. Can I lay these against the gravel, or does there have to be a specific gap? Thank you.

**A: confusing post but suffice to say, you can't block the ingress/egress.

I'm sorry. Didn't want to be too long of a post. I own her driveway and the left side of the driveway. She has so much company, her guests park on the left side onto my grass, instead of parking on the right side onto her grass. I wanted to line the railroad ties along the left side only, of the driveway. Just wanted to make sure that the ties could touch the gravel. I thought so, but wanted to be double dog sure. ;).
