What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WI
I have a registered easement on an adjacent property. It has been surveyed by both myself and the other property owner. The property owner said I may not use it, fenced it off, and has started a war with the entire block about easement rights. 3 homes sued and she lost, they all gained larger easements and prescriptive easements. She is now trying to block another person from their garage. I intend to file but she is very expensive to deal with (false claims , tries to turn every action in to a complaint about police misconduct and personal attacks.) She has a reputation in town as being hard to deal with and it is well know not to cross her or acomplaints will be filed (she made complaints to the police and Fire board, atty. general, and dept. of justice and has posted on You-Tube ) All of this makes her expensive. I need time to recover money spent try to keep her off my land( survey, fences and court where she was found guilty of tresspassing recieved no fine or court cost and has now filed an appeal.) The people from the othe legal acction filed a Lis pendems. Is this something that would apply. I can not do it right now but do intend to file. I understand that this would place a cloud on her title and let me state my intent with out her saying I have given up my rights to the easement.
