We own a home which was originally one parcel of land and was subdivided into three parcels where houses were built on each parcel. All three homes share a private lane, which is owned by the last house. We own an easement for ingress and egress on this lot.
Unfortunately, our neighbors (the owners of the lane), park in the lane (easement)which is directly connected at the end of our driveway. They partially block our exit from our driveway and at times, they completely block it. They maintain that they own the lane and are therefore allowed to park in it, but by doing so they are making it difficult for us to get out of our own driveway. They say that we should have no problem if we back all the way down the lane, but can they force us to do that? What are our rights and is there anything that we can do?
