On my residental property I have an easement running along the back border of my yard and is 201 in width. This ease ment was stipulated within the deed that the original builders of the property can use this easement to install, maintain, repair sewer. There currently is no sewer piping running through this easement, it was set into place so that if they built on the property to the right of mine that they can tap into the existing sewer line located in the back left corner of my property. As I mentioned above this easement says that the original builders can do this, apparently this easement was sold to another builder and now this builder wants to come through and hookup. Is this legal? Another question is there are many nice large trees on this easement that would be cut down, do I have any say on what can stay (trees, etc)or what responsibilty does the builder have to restoring the property after they cut the tree and digup the land?
Thanks for any help that can be provided.
