Our neighbor has easement rights to get to his property behind our house. He is now planning to sell the property. Do we have no say as to who gets rights? I mean he has rights, but do we need to give anyone/everyone else easement rights? This is the only access (through our property).

Any help on this is appreciated.

Thank you!

The access easement "belongs to" to land, not to the neighbor. Whoever buys the property will own the easement.
