What is the name of your state? New York

I recently tried to sell an item on eBay. A bidder won the item for $700. The next day I received an email stating they would not pay. The bidder lives in California according to eBay. What legal remedies can I pursue? Can I sue this person? Thanks for your help in advance.

My response:

Sure you can. Absolutely! An auction is the formation of, and completion of, a contract. Sue for breach of contract.

The same as we do when you do not utilize the search facility of this website BEFORE asking your inane, too damn oft-repeated question that has been answered on this forum ad nauseum....

Not a damn thing.
