Okay, so I get an email from ebay saying that i have shill bid, which is bidding up an item to increase its price or its want, yet i haven't done this. My account is restricted for 14 days and all of the items i had been selling are ended and none of my seller fees that you pay to list the items are going to be credited back to me. I have sent multiple emails to them asking what evidence they have of me shill bidding, the emails i have recieved back simply are their policy on shill bidding and hint that there was an accuser, but they still don't show me any evidence that i have done anything wrong. My Question are they able to legally restrict my access to my account, cancel auctions and not return my fees to me, while at the same time refusing to show any evidence of wrongdoing? It seems like I should have a legal right to know what evidence is being brought against me so that i might be able to properly defend myself against this false accusation.

You are confusing the rights that may be used against you by a government entity and a publically traded company. Basically, you have no rights when dealing with Ebay. You agreed to the policies when you signed up to use Ebay including the policy on shill bidding that has been sent to you. Ebay is a big company and has over one million unique items listed daily. It may take 2 or 3 weeks before your situation is resolved. It happened to me a couple years ago, once they found there was no shill bidding involved, I was given a $25.00 credit to my account.

well, at least there sounds like there is some shred of hope. =/ Still frustrating that i am suspended for 14 days from how i make my living right now because i was falsely accused of something. Twenty-five bucks won't hardly make up for that. =/

ebay is very seldom wrong about shill bidding suspensions. What's your ebay screen name? I'll take a look and see if I see anything. I know three girls that were suspended for it, one was a power seller with almost 800 items for sale. They pulled all 800 auctions!
