I purchased a car on ebay, I got it for $200.00 as a "Buy It Now". The seller is now saying the price was a typo and he is sorry for the inconvenience. I am out $200.00 for 5 days now waiting for a refund they sent me and I believe they are at fault.

I do not want a refund, I want the car.

Should I contact a lawyer?
The seller is in FL, and I live in FL, so this was not an out of state sale.

The car was a 2004 Pontiac GTO.

I have yet to accept there refund or acknowlege that the typo is legit, to me the typo is not a typo it was a binding sale and they need to honor it like every ebay user does.

Thanks,
James

This is where a doctrine referred to as "reasonable" comes in.

Do you really think anyone is going to sell you a 2004 car for two hundred dollars?

What, did it come in a bag?

Be real... you aren't going to be able to force the buyer to let you scam him.
