What is the name of your state? IA

Me and a friend have recently come up with an idea. Our plan is to buy items from a wholesale person and then sell them at a local businesses that buy new and used items. For example: you can by a trumpet for around $80 then if you take it to a music store you can get around 100-140 depending on brand etc. We were wondering if there are any legal laws or stipulations on how much you can sell etc. If anyone knows of anything i would appreciate some help! Thanks!

Also I was wondering if anyone knew any place were I could get bulk refurbished items to sell?? Thanks again!

Beware: A lot of those $80 brass instruments on Ebay are cheap Chinese junk. They may work for a beginning student, but not for long. At $140 for a 6th grade band beginner they might be ok.

But....

Even so... there are many things you can pawn off... are there any laws against buying things on ebay and reselling to businesses for greater value???

Maybe certain items that have normal restrictions (ie. drugs, alcohol, etc.), but other than those you are free to make a profit wherever you can.
