ebay winning won't pay

I auctioned off a vehicle on ebay. my listing stated that i must receive payment within 3 days; however, it's been 2 weeks now and i haven't heard a peep from the buyer. do i have any recourse other than reporting them to ebay, which is no recourse. they'll just do something really scary like suspend their account...oooooooo

Add a couple of hundred bucks to the price and re-sell it.

Contact your next 2-3 bidders if they were close and offer the car to them for somewhere between their last bid and the winning bid.

If you haven't done it, remind the "buyer" that he is legally obligated to buy the vehicle and tell him you WILL file suit to recover ALL damages (even if you won't file). Give him a BIG negative as a NON-PAYING bidder. That will kill his future chances of buying anything else on Ebay.

BTW: what was his feedback before this auction?

hmmm, let's see...the car only got one bid; if i give him negative feedback he will probably retaliate and mess up my %100 pos feedback; I live in georgia and i would have to go to california to sue; and, he only has 7 feedback. so, all he has to do is re-register under a new user id;

I guess i've answered my own question as to what i can do....nothing. thanks anyway.

It's a valid reason but I can understand your hesitation.
(because I get scared of retaliation too)

just notify ebay... and relist it...
