What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
I am supposed to graduate from a private univ. in about 4 wks. I was notified that I will not be getting my teaching credential because the school is not accepting my private elementary school teaching for student teaching (after having their officials observe me for the past 3 months). The credential would have given me a $5K pay raise with my Masters. They did say I will receive the Masters. I have emails saying I was OK to go with my private elem. school for student teaching. There was never any other communication until the past two weeks about my student teaching. The only reason I went to this univ. was because admissions and the credential analyst said my employer was acceptable as a student teaching site. I would have gone to another university had I known 2 years ago that they would change their minds at the last minute. The state has said they do not regulate student teaching sites and that it is up to my university. Please advise. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
