my son was recently suspended from school for 180 days due to falling a sobriety test given by the on site police officer. he was suspected of smoking pot. The test consisted of him closing eyes, tilting head back and telling the officer when 30 seconds was up. He counted to 30 and replied I think that was 30 seconds the officer told him it was only 20 seconds and took him to the principles office were he was suspended until we met with the school. Upon our meeting they advised us he would be suspended for 180 days, so my question is this sobriety test accurate and can the school suspended on the officers results with out any formal test as a urine test. The state is Missouri.
