 What is the name of your state? WI,

We have filed a civil action against our neighbor for trespassing and property damage. Part of the trespassing is a garage that is 2 feet onto our property. The neighbor has now filed bankruptcy.

He has informed us that we will never get a penny, and that his garage can now remain over the property line.

We received this information late yesterday and won’t be able to talk to our attorney until Monday, but we are squirming at the injustice.

Any idea what type of legal retaliation we can take against him? He has made our life hell for 11 months. While we or should I say my husband, have not been completely innocent, the neighbor has waged a constant, unrelenting war on our family and property. Our neighbor is guilty of harassment, liable, slander, and property damage.

Thank you,

A: The court could still order him to remove the garage even if you never get a penny.
