What is the name of your state?I live in California.
Can a person inherit legally if their was elder abuse change starting to be filed but never complete, only court odered T.R.O. was done against the grandson. Grandfather died before finishing the filing of charges. Grandson is in jail now on drug charges, the warrant for the drug charges was issued when the grand son was the caregiver and named sole trustee to the estate. Grandfather was left alone with no food or phone or Med.s for a weekend. This the short story. Thank you for any help

This can vary state to state. Did you ask an attorney in CA and did you check the CA state statues?
