You cannot be emancipated at this time. Period.

Except in California, a 15 year old cannot be emancipated. And even in California, you could not be emancipated on the basis of what you have posted.

Yup!

(I knew that's what you were getting at, but I'm pretty sure that the OP wouldn't have gotten the point  )

BTW, I've seen your recent posts, and you are very enjoyable to read. Thanks for your presence here.

You are welcome, but be advised that if I get a real job, I may have to go back to work!

What I think is you should get some sort of counseling. I am sure you can ask a teacher at school for some advice to see if there is someone there you can talk to this matter about. It's just hard for me to believe that you are this perfect child at 15 and that NONE of what goes on is your fault. I personally knew EVERYTHING at your age and now deal with a 14yr old that thinks the same as you. Maybe instead of shutting them out of your life for them blaming you, you can actually admit atleast to yourself what is your fault and try to understand that they don't blame it all on you for no reason.
By the way where are your parents? That just says that your grandparents have brought it upon themselves to make sure you are taken care of and you can't even give the slightest appreciation for that fact!
BY THE WAY: How dare you threaten to hit your grandmother!?!?!? Maybe she will see this and have proof to get you some help before you do hurt her or someone else. SHAME ON YOU!
