I live in Kansas. I'm in the reserves and I am going to be called out for active duty. This will cause my income to drop by 1/2 of currant income, up to possibly a year or more. My ex-spouse does not want to have the support reduced and will not corperate. I need to know if I can get a emergency reduction even if she will not corporate quickly and do not have the information of her income. I worry about this due to the limited time I have to settle this matter and the burden I have trying to maintain my current household.

You must contact your enforcement office or case worker immediately and ask them for their help! When do you leave for active duty? (Best of luck, and I appreciate you!) I'm sure that with what's going on there must be something in place for the thousands who have been called away. Contact them immediately and ask! There may be papers you can file yourself, include all documentation stating that you have been called to active duty and what your pay will be. Don't wait or arrears will build up with interest!

Any Kansas attorneys out there? This guy needs your help a.s.a.p. PLEASE
