What is the name of your state? California

Today my employee of 7 months received a call from her brother-in-law, asking her to make him up a receipt for the cost of a computer, so that he can make a claim to the his insurance company along with other items that were "damaged " due to an "over voltage" to his power outlets in his home.

"As she went down stairs to give him the receipt”. And returned to the office, I said "that is not a very wise thing to do" she said "everyone does it" and told me I was "over reacting". I then browsed the net and read articles and cases dealing with falsifying insurance clams, and how people are arrested and charged with a felony crime.
If he were ever caught and my business or my name were mentioned in the newspaper, by business would be over.

Am I over reacting? Under??

I have No Idea what to do. Or if I need to document what has happen, or even file a police report.

Thanks for your time

You are not over reacting at all. That is blatant fraud and she should be terminared immediately. Don't know if calling the police will accomplish anything.
