It appear that you are illegally misclassified and illegally charged for the coverage.



Also illegal.

Contact the workers comp bureau to file a claim.

If I contact the worker comp will they stop my benefits I am collecting? And if not will I be reimbursed for being charged if he is found at fault

You have lots of legal recourse; the employer's actions are blatantly illegal. But an attorney will be better equipped than a message board to determine your BEST recourse. It was one thing when it was just the workers comp premiums - that was a simple, report to the agency. But we've now identified several other things the employer is doing illegally. An attorney can best help you sort out the best way to approach them.

Why would they stop your benefits? You didn't do anything wrong.

I think that is a very good idea. A good general practice attorney should get you started but if there was an injury and you weren't compensated for medical cost or lost time you will need a work comp lawyer.
