Referring to my previous posts, my current employer owes backpay. I've heard that it's possible that small claims lawyers will "register" a lien claim on a company for monies owed should they go under. This may improve the probability of my getting "something" back from the company should they liquidate. In other words, it puts me "further to the front of the line". Is that true? Can someone please comment on that? Thanx
