Please do understand that she should probably be looking for another job. She is already at risk of losing this job based on what you have pushed her into doing so far. If you take it any further, she can kiss the job goodbye. If the job is not important to her or if she doesn't particularly like it then the principal of the matter may be more important to her than keeping the job. However, if the job is important to her or she really enjoys it, then she might want to consult an attorney quietly before rocking the boat any further.
