I live in New Hampshire and my employer is relocating me to North Carolina. I spoke with the land lord about my situation. They are holding fast to corporate policy - I must forfeit my deposit and pay one month rent.

Does anyone know if I have any options (I'm begging them to just penalize me for the security deposit and forego the 1 month additional rent).

Thats CHEAP>>>>>>>>>

Make sure you get it in writing that you pay the penalty and the lease is cancelled!

You must consider this a cost of a job transfer
