What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas.

My employer wants to change our pay day. Right now we turn in our timesheet on every other Thursday and get paid that next day Friday. She wants to have us turn in our timesheet and then not pay us till the next Friday making us be behind one weeks pay. Can she do this?

Yes, she can. That's quite legal, not even a little bit uncommon, and a much more accurate timekeeping method.
