What is the name of your state? california
i am a park maintenance worker for a small mobile home park in northern california. the board of directors and a property management company are my employer(s). the board of directors president sent out a memo to all 33 homesites about my ethics, specifically, turning in inflated timesheets or claiming false hours, or as she has termed it, 'double dipping.' i've had this verified by the property management company that i didn't do this however this cloud still hovers over me. because she was a pushy personality, the other senior citizen board members were quiet during this entire uncomfortable situation. they didn't say anything about their board president's behaviour and let her continue her term till the end only because of not knowing what to do, such as relieving her of her duties. some of the residents that don't know me well do question my honesty. i only work nine hours per week for the park but do get side jobs that i do for the other residents. one person has decided to not have me do a job for them because of this. it was malicious, unexpected and has effected my work performance where i'm not as efficient because of depression. is there anything i can do?
