I recently signed an employment agreement. Stated on the contract was my salary, hours, advancement opportunities, etc. I was asked to sign and date the agreement, which I did. In addition, there was a asterix, with the following statement: "Please note that you will be required to stay in this position for a minimun of 12 months." What, if any recourse does my employer have should I decide to leave prior to the 12 month period? Can they ask for salary already paid to me?

Thx.
