every month i get anywhere between 1 to 3 class action lawsuit documents/forms by mail for one of the many stock market scandals... only because i happened to trade those stocks last year or year before.

i have never responded to any of them, due to lack of interest and no reasons for taking part.

are there any consequences to discarding these forms, or am i REQUIRED to respond?

none of them seemed to indicate a requirement however....

thanks for help!

You can toss them all. Only the attorneys make money on those. If you are lucky you will get 5 cents on the dollar.
For instance: Copper Mountain, Komtag, Conseco, to name a few.
