I was engaged to get married and I bought a Wedding ring for 1500 dollars. we split up because she was not treating me very well. I asked for the ring back and she refused to give it back. she later called and said that she had the diamond removed and put into another piece of jewery. According to contract law, shouldn't I get the money back for the ring, since she has destroyed the origional and refused to give it back?
