Originally my two brothers are from az. Due to an abusive home they ran away about 3 weeks ago. I was seeking educationaly guardianship but soon found out that my father had both physical and legal custody of my brothers. I am 19 and a university student. Currently my brothers and I are in TX. I am waiting for permission to live off campus because my university does not generally allow students to live off campus. Is there a way for my brother to enroll himself in school in the tulsa area? According to the Mckinney-vento act homeless children have a right to go to school and are not required to have some of the documents that are standard inorder to enroll. Does my 15 yr. brother fit under the requirement of the Mckinney-vento act? WIll be able to enroll in school?
