What is the name of your state? pa

To Ensani....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a matter of fact, the part about my disabled child.....wait a minute SEVERELY disabled child is true. I did not want to have to go the disability route....however, what I have to say to you is SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR RUDE, HEARTLESS REMARKS TO ME! His disability is not part of the facts of what happened, however, this move could have DIRE consequences to him and our family. He is autistic and does not adjust well. So...THANK YOU......I have dealt with the landlord on my own without a speck of help from anyone here and hopefully it will come out in his favor. Let me say, I am absolutely disgusted with people right now, and, once again.....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!

My response:

Her forum name is spelled Enasni - which is the backwards spelling of "insane." Does that give you a clue?

Also.....I did not even touch on DIRE circumstances. Here are a few:

I have a son, who is extremely low functioning autistic. He has forced me to take a job working from home (which I am lucky I am not on welfare). I have had to give up any hopes of a career or education. The disability broke up my marriage because my ex could not handle it. I had to take a loan out for this house and the only reason I moved here was to get my son into a good school program. I moved many, many miles away from my family, my only support. I have $150 in my checking account. All of my credit cards are close to being maxed. This child needs 24/7 care, his out of pocket expenses are more than you can even imagine for therapies, tools to lock my house down because he will wander out of the house, diapers because we are unable to potty train him even at 7 y/o, special foods because he of a restricted diet****************************......pills, medications, vitamins**************......some covered, some not. DEPRESSED YET! Oh, forgot, the $2500 loan I took out from my bank to move into this house. NOW....I have to come up with this money once again. You think your depressed. Again...SHAME ON YOU FOR JUDGING ME WITHOUT HAVING ALL OF THE FACTS!

Why don't you take the pool down and store it somewhere? If you ask the landlord nicely she may let you do that yourself.

The bottom line is that you need to choose your battle. You can complain about the pool to the health department and almost guarantee that your lease will not be renewed or you can suck it up and drain the water yourself and take the pool down, Or just drain it whenever it gets standing water on it.

I think you know by now that the landlord is not going to do anything so it will be up to you to decide what you need to do and the consequences behind each action.

Do what you can to ease his transition into new housing , kind of the same way transition would apply if he were in a new DAC. If you have to use rewards tied to appropriate behavior and consequence for behavior that is not, Inc redirecting him more until transition is over.

Well, I think I finally figured it out...

The pool was not the issue with the landlord. She rented us on a six month lease. She knew from the get go that she was only going to keep tenants for six months, I was just the sucker that agreed to it. Yes, I will contact the health department on her, she deserves any fines she gets. No, I won't take the pool down for her, it is a very large pool and requires a permit to move (or so she says). I will just have to suck it up and move and learn from the experience. I just wish this slime bucket had chosen a different family to use for her own financial gain. We have already offered to remove the water on a consistent basis for her, she refuses to budge. Therefore, she only wanted tennants for six months, she got her money, now my kids suffer. How this woman can sleep at night is beyond me. Thanks though for the suggestions.
