Hi my name is Evgeniya Bronat, I had started a model and acting career one year and half ago.
Through the internet I found this manager froma company called ITM talent Inc. his name is Phil Nesmith.
When we first spoke he promsied that if I signed a 5 year contract with him, he would spend around 10,000 dollars in helping me for lessons and that sort of thing with acting, and modeling,. Well its been some time and he has not gotten me one job and out of my pocket so far I have spent close to 4500.00 for trips to California and Canada and Las Vegas, and Phoeix where he is.
All the trips I wenrt on were from what he siad sure fire movies and jobs for me., I have not gotten one job and have been sexully harrassed by the people he has et me up with everyone associted with him that he sent me on tthey just wnted to have sex with me.
Plus when I went to his place in phonix supposedly for a movie script they had there was nothing but spanking scenes that he wanted to rehearse and not any of the regular scenes in the movie.
My question is I would like to break my contract with him , beacuse last week he had promised a trip for a fashion show in Kentucky with a new client and that 2500 per day and that was cancelled one week before we were to go.
he has nothing but broke\n promises and and broken dreams.
Can someone help me in this matter of breaking this contract with him.
I also signed it over one year ago, I'm not a US citizen buta citizen of Russia, does that help by me not being a US citizen I hope it does and I hope someone here can help me.
Thank you
Evgeniya

Entertainment agency contract

From the facts you give, Nesmith has not performed his end of the agreement. That is good legal grounds for you to rescind the contract. If you can prove he promised to spend $10,000 in helping you may be able to get damages for that amount, and for the $4,500 you have spent. Because of the nature of this, you may also be able to win attorney’s fees.

I don't think that your status as a Russian citizen has any relevance in this.

I suggest you contact an attorney specializing in contracts to handle this for you.
