texas, we are in the process of purchasing 49 acres, has old homestead with number of old barns on property, we noticed on a walk through that there are a number of barrels maked oil and a section block off that has unknown chemicals in barrels (we think it's fertilizer) but unknown. owner has never seen property, there has been a grazing lease on land for forty years. we would like a enviroment hazard test done on the property, before we go any further with purchase who is responsible for the cost of the test?

Make sure your offer states that the Seller will pay for all inspections and removal and the offer is contingent upon same.
