in virginia law, what is needed to prove adultery,or abandonment for divorce reasons

LEGAL GROUNDS FOR DIVORCE: No-Fault: (1) living separate and apart without cohabitation for 1 year; or (2) living separate and apart without cohabitation for 6 months if there are no minor children and the spouses have entered into a separation agreement. [Code of Virginia; Title 20, Section 20-91].

General: (1) adultery (including homosexual acts); (2) abandonment; (3) conviction of a felony and imprisonment for 1 year; (4) cruelty; and (5) willful desertion. [Code of Virginia; Title 20, Section 20-91].

My response:

Now that we have the "grounds" under Virginia law, proving the allegations "is a whole other animal".

So, photos, video, tape recordings, can't hurt. It's really difficult to deny the testimony of a videographer or a photographer when he / she testified that you were caught on film "doing the nasty" with someone else; and then, having that proof entered into evidence !

When California had "Fault" divorce laws, film always did the trick. But, alas, we don't have "fault" divorce any longer, so the need for Private Investigators and photographers is "a thing of the past".
