What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

Have any of you been involved with any lawsuits involving someone geting hurt on someone elses horse?

No, but reason would suggest that you knew or should have known that there was an inherent risk if you got on someone else's horse.

Why do you ask? What is YOUR situation (as yours WILL be different from anyone else)

You will get more useful information if you describe YOUR situation and what you would like to have happen.

I have a question. I gave a 30 day notice at a boarding barn and when the hauler came, I went to get my horse from the stall and the owner of the barn snapped a photo of my horse and said it was standard procedure to show he was leaving in one piece. Is that normal?

Your question is not really a legal question, either.
